In Memory of INA

Moirang Yatra by Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad:

Akhil Bharatiya Poorva Sainik Sewa Parishad has organised the Moirang Yatra to commemorate the flag hoisting ceremony by the INA of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on April 14 in 1944 on the liberated land of India from the yoke of Britishers. This year the Yatra has been dedicated to “India, My Home”. It will go to the capitals of Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam taking the message of national security and integrity. All together 15 to 20 persons will participate in the yatra from various states of the country. The yatra began from India Gate (New Delhi) on April 10 after paying homage to the martyrs. According to Air Cor. (retired) Shri Balkrishan Gandhi, national general secretary of the Parishad, a total of six persons left from Delhi on April 10 and others will join the yatra in the way. Col. (retired) Shri N.C. Gandhi, national organising secretary of the Parishad, is leader of the yatra.
