DESAM Anniversary
Call for quality education: Imphal, Jan 3: Call for providing education which can ensure the livelihood of the people reverberated at the 6th foundation day of Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) was celebrated today along with participation by students, teachers and representatives of various social organisations at GP Women's College here on Thursday. The foundation day function was attended by titular king of Manipur Leishemba Sanajaoba as chief guest, president in-charge of DESAM PC Newton as functional president and social worker Ningthouja Lancha and former Dean of School of Social Science, Manipur University Prof Kh Bimola as guests of honour.
