Saratchandra Football: NEROCA Sangakpham and the MPSC have completed the semi finals line-up of the 4th L Saratchandra Memorial Invitation Football Tournament being played at Kongkhampat ground, Nambol. In the last match of group B, MBSU Wahengbam Leikai pipped TRAU Kwakeithel 5-3 . The second match between MPSC and NEROCA ended in 1-1 draw. Th Rohen of MPSC equalised NEROCA's first half goal by H Amarjit to earn the police side a crucial point. At the end of the match, NEROCA emerged winners of group C on better goal difference while the MPSC managed to get through to the semi-finals round by virtue of being the second best team of all the groups. MPSC will take on TRUGPU Nambol in the first semi-final on April 23 while NEROCA face off YWC Thambalkhong in the second semi-final on the same day.
